Facilities and Services at Ashtongrange

ENVIRONMENT

Ashton Grange Nursing Home in Horsham is close to Horsham town centre and also Crawley. The Horsham nursing home has 29 single bedrooms and 1 shared bedroom. A large number of the bedrooms has en suite facilities and are on the ground floor.

The Nursing home in Horsham has 6 luxury ground floor en suite bedrooms built in 2013 all of which are large and spacious. In 2013 a large conservatory was added to the home providing further relaxing communal areas overlooking the garden. A new kitchen was fitted at during the same period giving the cooks more space and facilities in order to prepare our high standards of cuisine.

The laundry is completed on site, in the basement, and the care staff ensure that the clothes are checked in the wardrobes and kept tidy, a key worker is allocated.

Relaxing Areas

Our Service Users can pursue their hobbies in a number of communal and quiet lounges provided throughout the Home. Our attractive garden has beautiful flower beds and a furnished patio area which is popular in the summer. These areas are used for relaxing.

FOOD

The chefs at Ashton Grange Nursing Home in Horsham prepare an extensive menu and cater for special diets, whether it is Diabetic, Gluten free, Dairy free etc. Service Users are welcome to come to the lounge and have their meals or can stay in their bedroom. Service Users are also given a choice of meals which use fresh ingredients and are prepared on a daily basis.

Mealtimes are made an enjoyable and sociable part of the day. Our dining area has tables laid with fresh linen.

Snacks, fresh fruit and refreshments are provided 24 hours a day.
We also enjoy catering for special celebrations for our Service Users such as birthdays and anniversaries.

DISABILITY VAN

The Horsham Nursing home has its own disability van which is shares with its sister home Ashtoneligh thus allowing the residents that are able to go out on visits to the local amenities such as local parks, garden centres and shops in Horsham and Crawley. And just allows residents to get out to the local area if they so wish and are well enough.

The van has 5 ordinary seats as well as 2 wheelchair seats allowing residents that require wheelchair support to also go out as much as possible (weather permitting as well!).
